Strip clubs offering food may seem unappealing to most, yet it appears almost all adult venues serve food and claim it as the best. Now, a strip club in Niagara falls is putting their money where their mouth is, reopening over the weekend as a restaurant. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the club was unable to open for live entertainment, and instead had scantily clad waitresses serving food.
the Sundowner on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada promoted their “historic” reopening on their Facebook page last week, and health inspectors came out to make sure the club was abiding by all new restrictions. “Their intention is to open a patio as food service venue with less than completely clad servers, so public health inspectors will be there to inspect the premises as it opens,” said Dr. Mustafa Hirji before the reopening. The region is currently in phase two of their pandemic economic reopening, which allows restaurants to reopen their patios, but not live entertainment.
It is unknown if the club committed any infractions after reopening over the weekend. They hope they can return to normal business during phase three of their reopening plan. If not, they better hope their food is as good without the dancers as a distraction.
