There are many different hobbies helping people cope with being stuck at home all day, but as quarantine continues many have already become tired of their once entertaining activity. For some, it’s not the boredom or the repetitiveness of the hobby they chose, but instead the ability to do that activity day in and day out. That’s what tattoo artist Chris Woodhead is currently dealing with, after promising to give himself a tattoo each day of quarantine.

For Woodhead, it isn’t the pain or lack of supplies that is causing him to rethink his tattoo quarantine hobby, but instead the fact that he is beginning to run out of space on his body for new tattoos. Before lockdown, he had over 1,000 designs on his body, and since quarantine began has already added over 40 more. “The idea of tattooing myself every day was to give myself a bit of direction. Without structure people are at a complete loss,” said Woodhead.

Each afternoon, Woodhead sits down to design a new design, before giving himself the tattoo. While there isn’t much more space to fill in, he says he plans to continue his hobby as long as quarantine continues. Hopefully, after this he becomes a master of tiny space tattoos.
