It appears once again, an old episode of ‘The Simpsons’ has predicted the future. The beloved cartoon series has been credited in recent years with having jokes in episodes that are eerily similar to real life occurrences that happen years later. Once the coronavirus began to spread, fans noticed an old episode of ‘The Simpsons’ that predicted a similar outbreak, and now that same episode seems to have predicted “Murder Hornets.”
‘The Simpsons’ has been on the air for 20 years, and while it has continued to make fans laugh throughout that time, in recent years it seems they have become more popular for their unknown future predictions. In the episode, ‘Marge in Chains,’ from 1993, a doctor talks to an angry crowd about the “Osaka Flu” when the angered group opens a case of killer bees. Fans had already credited the episode with predicting coronavirus, and now seem to have also predicted the Asian giant hornet making its way to the United States.
Fans are also crediting the 1999 episode ‘Wild Barts Can’t Be Broken’ with predicating the current pandemic. While many fans still watch the show to escape reality, maybe someone needs to start searching old episodes for future predictions.
