When it comes to gamblers, it usually doesn’t take much to get them to a casino. However, since Las Vegas reopened, many casinos have implemented new safety measures that have largely been ignored. Now, some casinos are offering an incentive, giving gamblers $20 as long as they wear a mask.
With many casinos trying to enforce the new rules, in order to keep everyone safe, Caesars Entertainment is hoping a $20 gaming credit is enough to get people to wear a mask. The new incentive is available for gamblers at any of Caesar’s Vegas properties; Caesars Palace, Paris, Flamingo, The Linq, and Harrah’s. The promotion started this weekend and according to a Caesars representative, they already gave out $7,500 worth of vouchers to 375 guests.
It is unknown if other casinos will begin giving out vouchers in order to get customers to wear a mask. For now, Caesars just hopes to keep customers safe, and avoid being forced to close down again. Of course, the house always wins, so they will most likely be getting that $20 back anyways.
