With many people continuing to work from home, it seems some have found new ways to remain productive working outside the office. Apparently one way some employees are relieving work stress is by watching porn while at home. According to live cam website Stripchat, 75% of their users are logging on from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. since quarantine began.
Lunch breaks are no longer just for eating according to the data recently released by Stripchat. The pornographic website claims that data collected from June 5 and June 12 shows that 158,000 users, out of 210,000 total, are logging in during the daytime, with the most popular hours coming between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. “Remote workers [are beginning to explore> new mid-afternoon pick-me-ups [since> another cup of coffee isn’t cutting it anymore,” said Stripchat’s communications director, Max Bennett.
While the large numbers may seem shocking to some, the website claims they expected to see increases in usage once quarantine began. “This new work from home masturbation revolution comes at a time when work-related stress is at an all-time high,” said Bennett. While it may be helping with work production, hopefully their coworkers don’t find out what’s creating all this stress free effort.
