While lockdown has been rough on many, apparently the time away from humans has been great for the animals at a Russian Zoo. According to reports, the Zoo has seen a baby boom among their animals since shutting their doors two months ago. While some animals seemingly miss the attention, others are apparently using their time to get close to the other animals.

The Zoo in Siberia so far has seen the birth of a number of rare animals including; Egyptian goslings, reindeer calves, llama crias and a baby brown weeper capuchin monkey. “Judging by the baby boom, the lockdown has clearly been good for us because there are a lot of interesting and beautiful baby animals now," said the director of Krasnoyarsk's Royev Ruchey Zoo, Andrei Gorban.

Of course not all the animals are taking the absence of visitors as well as others. According to Gorban many of their attitudes have changes because “really don't understand what's going on. They have this sort of look of expectation in their eyes." While many miss seeing the animals in person, at least when quarantine ends the zoo will be full of new animals.
