Dolphins Doing Backflips At Full Speed While Swimming Is Something You Have To See

I'm sad today. It's been a rough couple of days. BUT, in internet fashion, I found something to completely turn my day around.

In Monterey Bay, California, some whale watchers caught a video of dolphins doing back flips while swimming at full speed. Which, in dolphin-on-video-land is quite rare. Alisa Schulman-Janiger, a researcher who was on the boat, said that "Pacific white-sided dolphins are the only dolphin species in the Northern Hemisphere with backflipping abilities." She added: “They were all over the place, chasing fish, swimming alongside the boat, bow-riding and surfing our wake…. and in the periphery one of them started flipping out, literally.”

I've been on one of these boat tours which I got to see dolphons swimming next to our boat, and it was a magical experience. But this? I would've cried. Double rainbow style.

Please enjoy this as much as I did. And then immediately try to imitate them. Good luck.
