Billie Eilish is calling out 'Nylon Germany' after the magazine used a photo of the 17-year-old singer without her consent. The 'Bad Guy' singer first saw the image when the magazine posted a photo of their cover to their Instagram page. Eilish quickly commented on the artwork that features a bald 3D artwork version of the star.
'Nylon Germany' posted the photo for their latest issue on Thursday, and it wasn't long before Eilish fans made sure the artist knew about the cover. Billie Eilish defended herself on the post commenting "1. I was never approached by nylon about this piece whatsoever. I did not know it was happening nor did anyone on my team. 2. this is not even a real picture of me."
The singer would continue by saying "I had absolutely no creative input. 3. youre gonna make a picture of me shirtless?? thats not real?? at 17? and make it the cover???? even if the picture was supposed to look like some robot version of me… i did not consent in any way." The magazine quickly put out a statement saying it was meant to honor Eilish, not insult her. 'Nylon Germany' learned quickly; don't mess with Billie Eilish or her fans.
