Machine Gun Kelly stopped by ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Monday to perform a song, and ended his performance with a touching tribute to the mass shooting victims in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. The Ohio native was joined by Yungblud to perform their hit song, ‘I Think I’m OKAY,’ but it was the end of the performance tribute that has everyone talking.
The Ohio rapper started his performance on the late night talk show, seated on a cabinet before breaking into the song from his new album, ‘Hotel Diablo.’ While on the speaker, MGK sullenly rapped, “Watch me, take a good thing and mess it all up in one night/ Catch me, I'm the one on the run away from the headlights/ No sleep, up all week wasting time with people I don't like/ I think something's wrong with me."
At the end of the performance, both Machine Gun Kelly and Yungblud flipped over their guitars to reveal the names of the two cities affected by recent mass shootings. The back of MGK’s guitar read “Dayton,” while Yungblud’s honored El Paso. MGK and Yungblud join a long list of those who have honored the late victims of the recent mass shootings.
