During a Foo Fighters' concert earlier this week, lead singer Dave Grohl gave some impromptu love to a San Diego whiskey company called Screwball.
He was on stage when he said, "I gotta give a shoutout to my new favorite whiskey company. I just discovered it a few weeks ago. It's here in San Diego. It's peanut butter whiskey. Do you know about the peanut butter whiskey? You will." A representative from the distillery said he didn't even realize the Foo Fighters were performing that night, but he said he was immediately blown up with texts and calls from everyone he knew. When asked later if Dave Grohl had any affiliation with Screwball, the whiskey rep said no. The compliment was completely unsolicited... and now it's flying off the shelves.
