Texas is great at many things, but every once in a while something is found that the Lone Star state can improve on. For instance, a recent study found that Texas is not great for a group of girls hitting the town for the evening. In fact, the study ranked Texas as the worst state for a "girl's night out."
Fashion website Nasty Girl, recently conducted a study to find the best states for girl's night out. The study looked at factors such as average cocktail/bottle of wine costs, party dress costs, and number of bars per 1,000 people. According to KXAN, the study ranked each state on a scale of 100, and Texas came in last with a score of 48.59.
Some of the things that hurt Texas was the average cocktail costs e $12.30 and the average fast food meal costs $9.30. "Texas ranks at the bottom of the list, due to low safety levels and high overall costs," said the study. While Texas is pretty close to perfect, at least now there is something to improve on.
