During most hours of the day the Whataburger drive-thru line is a magical place. However, sometimes when the sun goes down the line becomes full of debauchery. Of course, this leads to some very interesting situations, as sometimes the people are better off just going home. That was the case for one Texas teen recently, who was arrested after hilariously turning himself in for marijuana possession while at the Whataburger drive-thru.
Police in Wichita Falls recently made a stop at Whataburger when they caught a whiff of something other than the food. One officer approached the drive-thru menu to check the calorie count on a honey butter chicken biscuit where they noticed the strong odor. When the officer asked the driver how much marijuana was in the car, the teen shockingly said “this much” and handed the cop a lit joint.
According to KXAN, the teen was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. His bond was set at $2,500. Sadly the teen was arrested before he was able to get his munchies.
