Memorabilia collectors are often seen as hoarders by those who don’t share their same passion for accumulating items. Luckily, an event is coming to DFW that will give them a chance to properly show off their collections without being shamed by those that don’t understand. ‘Collect-A-Con’ will be coming to Frisco next month, and will feature plenty of retro collectibles.
For those looking to add to their collection, or start up a new one; ‘Collect-A-Con’ seems like the perfect event. The memorabilia convention will feature plenty of items, including; video games, trading cards, action figures and many more. “Collect-A-Con is a place where you can find all types of amazing collectibles. You can meet celebrities, get autographs, take pictures, and meet other fans with similar interests,” said event co-founder Cody Wirz.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the event will take place on June 26-27. Fans will also have the chance to meet and take pictures with Austin St. John and Walter Jones, who play the Red Power Ranger and Black Power Ranger respectively. For DFW collectors, come June ‘Collect-A-Con’ will definitely be the place to be.
