Usually when a list ranking cities across America is released and a Texas town is near the top; Texans use it as a way to celebrate. However, a recent list may make some in the Lone Star state a little worried. A recent survey of the most dangerous highway routes named the popular Dallas to Galveston road trip route as the second most dangerous in the country.

According to the survey, done by fleet tracking company Teletrac Navman, the I-45 route from Dallas to Galveston is one of the most dangerous in the country. Using data from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, the survey found that from 2016 to 2019 that stretch of highway saw “.913 death(s) per mile.” They also found that the most accidents occurred on Saturday’s between 2am and 3am, according to Dallas Culture Map.

Other Texas highways making the list include; I-30 from Aledo through Dallas, I-35 West from Hillsboro through Fort Worth on the way to Denton and Highway 175 from Dallas to Jacksonville, Florida. Of course, some Texas highways fell off the list as well such as; I-37, Highway 290, and Highway 59. At least Texas didn’t get the top spot, as Florida drivers now have to worry about that.
