With more and more people moving from California to Texas, many outside of the Lone Star state are left wondering why so many people are leaving the west coast. For years, California has been a dream destination for many, but thanks to a number as aspects plenty of people are finding out Texas is actually the ideal place to live. One of those aspects is the cost of living, and a new look at the housing difference between the two states has many online stunned.
My San Antonio recently set out to show people the difference between a $299,000 home in San Antonio and a house for the same price in San Francisco. As seen in the photos, the main selling point for the Texas home is the size. Every room displayed has significantly more space than the California home. “The bottom line? Buyers may be California dreamin', but they will get far more space in the Alamo City,” said My San Antonio.
The homes shown were compared by their living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and outdoor space. Many online were surprised by the difference of the homes given their similar prices. Once people see this, it will only lead to more people moving to Texas.
