Earlier this year, a fan-created Whataburger painting went viral, placing the fast food restaurant in a waterfront scene. Apparently more artists have found inspiration in Whataburger, and now the fast food chain has decided to show off some of the best pieces. Whataburger recently launched an online museum of art, featuring 16 artists inspired by the fast food chain.
The Whataburger Museum of Art can currently be found on Instagram, where artists share their latest works inspired by the chain. “It includes a variety of perspectives and interpretations of Whataburger fandom. Many of these artists had tagged Whataburger in the past, and we knew we wanted to shine a light on their great work,” said the Whataburger website announcing the virtual museum.
According to WFAA, some of the artwork features the iconic Whataburger “W,” while others show off the buildings, the bags, the cups, or the food. Many fans online were amazed by the pieces, wanting to see more from Whataburger inspired artists. It’s only a matter of time before more aspiring artists find inspiration in the fast food chain.
