It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the site that named Fremont, California as America's Happiest City for 2021 also is telling us it's a great place to raise a family. Wallet Hub has released their latest study and a few Bay Area cities performed well.
180 American cities were compared across 48 metrics and Fremont ranked #2 in the study, San Jose came in at #14, and San Francisco at #17 as the best cities in America to raise a family in 2021. None ranked highly in affordability, but excelled in child care, education, low divorce rates, and family-friendly attractions.
Overland Park, Kansas ranked as the country's best city to raise a family while Detroit ranked the worst. For the full study and methodology head here.
