VIDEO: Arsonist torches Asian family’s vehicles in San Jose

A Vietnamese family was inside their San Jose home on Ohara Court, when someone set their cars on fire around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to reporting by KPIX.

Vicky Phan said her grandmother, uncle, his wife, and daughters were inside the house at the time of the incident, and are traumatized from witnessing the crime.

No one was hurt.

According to Phan, her grandpa passed away 5 years ago, and one of the destroyed cars belonged to him.

Seeing it go up in flames made her grandma feel like she lost him again.

The San Jose Police Department is investigating the crime.
