Netflix's The Witcher has already drawn plenty of comparisons to Game of Thrones, what with the swordfighting and the mythical creatures and the magic and whatnot. Now there's one more connection, with rumors that a fan favorite from GOT has been cast in season 2!
Kristofer Hivju, known to many as Tormund Giantsbane/that guy with the amazing ginger beard, is allegedly joining the cast of The Witcher! This makes me especially happy: we only own two Game of Thrones Funko POP figures, and Tormund is one of them. (Arya is the other. Such a badass she turned out to be.) Not going to spoil you on any details, but here's everything a Witcher fansite has dug up on the casting. Season 2 should be arriving next year!
