The Strokes Confirm New Album Coming In 2020 at Brooklyn NYE Show

The Strokes officially announced a new album is coming in 2020 at their Barclays Center show in Brooklyn on New Year's Eve. Frontman Julian Casablancas made the announcement before the band performed a new track, giving excited fans a "deep cut preview" called "Ode To The Mets" according to their setlist.

ALT 92.3's Bryce was there... he thoroughly enjoyed it.

The upcoming release will be the band's first full-length album since 2013's Comedown Machine -- and their first new music since 2016's Future Present Past EP.

No future dates are scheduled as of yet.
