Just when it seemed like the fast food wars were calming down, Chick-fil-A has decided to spark things up again.

The fast food chain announced the return of a popular menu item recently, this time challenging other chains with their dessert selection.

Chick-fil-A announced that their peach milkshake has returned to menus for the summer.

Starting this week, the peach milkshake will be added to Chick-fil-A menus nationwide.

The seasonal treat was first introduced in 2009 and has become a favorite of many fast food enthusiasts. It includes vanilla soft serve ice cream, peach slices and whipped cream, according to Fox News.

Many fans were excited about the news, with one fan tweeting “Finally! I have a reason to go back to my local location.”

Of course, some were hoping this time the shake was here to stay, however it will again only be available for a limited time. Now, it’s only a matter of time before another fast food chain makes a similar move.
