We know donuts and pizza are good separately, but have you ever imagined the snacks mashed up into one?
DiGiorno announced its new pizza and donut mashup called the “DiGiornut.”
The unique donut is stuffed with mozzarella cheese and is also topped with the famous DiGiorno sauce and even more cheese.
The brand will roll out the new donut-inspired snack on June 4, which happens to be National Donut Day. It will be available through a Twitter sweepstakes.
To enter, food lovers can reply to DiGiorno’s tweet with #sweepstakes for a chance to win a half-dozen box.
“At DiGiorno we like to push the boundaries of what’s possible for pizza, and the DiGiornut is something we’ve been dreaming about for a while,” Kimberly Holowiak, DiGiorno Brand Manager at Nestlé, said.
She continued, “At the same time, we’ve seen out of the box thinking from our fans on social media – connecting pizza with donuts. So we thought, why not have some fun and make this mashup a reality to celebrate National Donut Day.”
