One of the things fans love about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is that, unlike most impossibly ripped blockbuster action movie stars with intense routines, he’s a really relatable guy.
The Rock’s not afraid to look a little goofy in comedic situations in his movies, and in interviews and his constant social media posts, he alway has a sense of humor about things.

Today, the "Jungle Cruise" star's funny self-awareness story goes to extremes.
It seems when deep into another set of 200 pull-ups or what have you, Johnson doesn’t want to have to break the zone and do something as normal-human as take a pee break. So he’ll often just find an empty water bottle and, well, you know.
As Yahoo Entertainment recalls, Johnson’s fandom first found out about this intriguing workout regime back in 2017. He was promoting a new pair of sneakers from his "Project Rock" collection with Under Armour, and as he recorded a video of his feet, one could see the suspiciously yellow water bottle in the background.
Johnson soon noticed it too, then said, in his inimitable self-effacing way, "I just realized you all saw my big bottle of pee. Look, I go hardcore when I train. I don't have time to go to the bathroom. I find a bottle, I pee in it, and I keep training like a beast."
You want to be the one to question The Rock’s workout routine?
I didn’t think so.
The topic resurfaced recently in an Esquire video chat, where not only did Johnson share that his grandfather was a Bond villain in “You Only Live Twice” (sheez, just when you think The Rock can’t toss out any more interesting info about himself!), but he went on to confirm that particular workout habit.
"Usually the gyms that I work out in don't have a bathroom," Johnson explained, "because they're the iron paradise and there's no bathroom there, it's just hot, sweaty, and dirty. I usually stay pretty hydrated and I have to go to the bathroom a lot. Not a lot, but a couple times during every workout I have to go to the bathroom. So I break out the bottle."
But in a quick pivot example of Johnson’s relatability, he turned to his huge Sunday cheat meals, which he often posts on Instagram.
While he says he, obviously, stays very dietarily disciplined during the week, “when Sunday rolls around, it's time to go to town. For example, this Sunday I had these amazing pineapple and coconut pancakes with pieces of dried pineapple inside the pancakes. Just the right amount of crunch to the pancakes, then I'll have maybe burgers, and fries, and some pasta. Sundays I go all out.”
