“I started that song in Scotland somewhere and I finished it off in the studio when I got to do ‘Morning Glory,’” Gallagher recalled. “I don’t have a great recollection of writing it but… I know once I hit it, it sparked a chain of events that ended up with me having a f***ing billion streams of it.”

Gallagher poked fun at himself as he explained the song was the first song after learning what a guitar capo was and admits he’s a bit embarrassed it gets as much attention as it does with the simplistic guitar part.

“It is literally the simplest f***ing song you could ever f***ing wish to play in the guitar,” he laughed. “There was a documentary in the ‘90s about music [with George Martin]…  and somebody asked me to do this documentary and I was like, ‘Oh, George Martin, it’ll be great!’”

He continued, “They made me play ‘Wonderwall’ in front of him and asked me to intellectually articulate what I was thinking and honestly it’s the most embarassesd I’ve ever been as a f***ing human being… I had to sit there and go, ‘I just put me fingers there and then I put them there,’ and he was going, ‘Marvelous, isn’t it just marvelous?’”
