Weezer is back in their colorful bag for their upcoming self-titled album. The band will release Weezer, aka The Gold Album, on August 21, marking their 20th studio album.

News of the new release comes along with a new track from the LP, “We Might As Well Be Strangers,” featuring Wednesday vocalist Karly Hartzman.
The Gold Album is the latest in the rainbow array of colors for the Alternative icons, following Blue, Green, Red, White, Teal, and Black albums. It also marks the band’s first project since celebrating 30 years of their debut LP.
All together, the band is calling this their 20th album, following the 4 SZNZ projects from 2022.
Earlier this year, the band announced their Weezer: The Gathering tour, joined by The Shins and Silversun Pickups, and starting in September.
