Sometimes, celebrities are just like us.
“Twilight” star Kristen Stewart recently admitted that seeing a certain celebrity turned her into a giddy fangirl.
In a recent interview with W magazine, Stewart recalled walking into a restaurant and noticing "Scream" alum Neve Campbell enjoying her food. She instantly shifted into the classic internal debate of whether it was appopriate to go over and say "hello."
“I looked over my shoulder and did this thing that I hate when people do (it) to me,” Stewart explained, adding, “where they look and then snap back and pretend they didn’t see or something. I’m like, ‘Just come say hi.’ And then my friend was like, ‘You should just go say hi.’ I was like, ‘No way.’ And then she invited us to sit down and chat for a minute. I was like, ‘Man, I need to go see ‘Scream (Five).’' I love that series so much.”
As Today reported, while Stewart is an established actor who has worked with some iconic names, includingJulianne Moore, Jodie Foster, Robert De Niro, she still gets awestruck sometimes.
“It’s funny who actually starstrikes you. It’s never who you expect,” she said. “It’s a physical thing — maybe you love a musician, maybe you love an actor so much, but you see them and you’re like, ‘Yeah, cool. That’s them. They’re a person.’ There are some people that just get in there. Physically. And then your body goes, ahh.”
Aside from Campell, the actress, who is currently garnering Oscar buzz for her portrayal of Princess Diana in “Spencer," revealed she's also smitten with celebrity restaurateur, Guy Fieri.
After getting engaged to girlfriend Dylan Meyer, Stewart revealed that she wanted him to to officiate her upcoming wedding, noting: “The idea of that man — that sweet, sweet spikey-headed man — coming to our wedding and officiating it, it just makes me laugh so much."
And as if on cue, during a recent sit down with the Today show, host Hoda Kotb surprised Stewart with a video from Fieri – and he is “all in” on the officiating idea.
Stewart was completely shocked, and assured Kotb she was very serious about the invite for the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” star.
“Do you know where he lives?” Stewart desperately asked. “What’s his address?” “Does he live in LA? We should talk about this.”
The engaged couple has yet to announce a wedding date, but it appears Fieri has already RSVP'd "yes."
