8-year-old cancer patient, Delilah, got the surprise of a lifetime when Plain White T’s frontman,Tom Higgenson, stunned her with a special performance.

In a post on social media, Higgenson can be seen delivering a video message to the young patient before he takes things a step further and enters her hospital room to perform “Hey There Delilah,” live with just his acoustic guitar.
“Delilah has been fighting cancer for over 4 years,” the video caption reads. “During her cancer treatments Delilah's favorite song has been ‘Hey There Delilah,’ so we surprised her with @higgypop and her favorite song ❤️”
Young Delilah is captured in the video as she experiences all the emotions from the sweetest surprise. From her jaw dropping to a glowing smile, a sing-along with family and nurses to even tears, the moment is one the young fighter won’t soon forget.
