Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Gabby Douglas explains how she "unjunks" her sleep

Whether you’re an Olympian, an armchair athlete, or anyone in between, sleep is critical to personal performance.

68% of Americans say that they receive less than the recommended seven hours of sleep each night, for a total of 74 billion hours of lost sleep each year, according to SleepScore Labs! And according to the National Safety Council, a person who has lost two hours of sleep from an eight-hour sleep schedule could be as impaired and lacking focus as someone who has consumed up to three beers.

They also report that 93% of people say that a comfortable mattress is integral to receiving quality sleep. Olympic gymnastics medalist Gabby Douglas discusses her role in a national mission underway to un-junk our sleep. She also shares what effect Covid is having on this summer's Olympic games, and reveals the top three moments of her career.
