Back in 2018, a video went viral showcasing what appeared to be two new menu items at In-N-Out Burger, bacon and avocado. Food bloggers, The Eat Show, got fans of the chain in a tizzy with the 'Cali Style' burger featuring both items and said it would be available April 1st - April Fools Day. This came years after Foodbeast pranked In-N-out fans in 2014 with a bacon addition.
Years later In-N-Out, who seldom make menu adjustments, have not added those items to the menu. The most recent addition was hot cocoa back in 2018, which was the first new item since lemonade was introduced in the early 2000s.
In 2016, thousands signed a petition aiming to get In-N-Out to add a veggie burger, which years later has never come to fruition. For now, you'll have to stick the same menu items you've known for years.
