As many in Florida know, there are certain parts of the state people should stay away from if they want to avoid alligators.
Luckily for fast food fans, rarely do Wendy’s parking lots make it on to that list — until now.
The Lehigh Acres Fire Department recently shared video of an alligator they helped capture, claiming it had been chasing customers around the Wendy’s parking lot.
As seen in the video, the massive alligator calmly strolls through the parking lot as people watch from a distance.
According to NBC-2, officials believe the alligator was just attempting to make it from one body of water to another. Luckily, no one was harmed by the alligator, despite some being forced to run through the Wendy’s parking lot.
“In other #Florida news, we’ll be experiencing a slightly delayed response time leaving Lehigh Acres Health & Rehab,” the fire department captioned their now-viral tweet.
The alligator was eventually safely removed and relocated.
Hopefully the Wendy’s parking lot doesn’t become an alligator hot spot.
