Everyone’s favorite first beer, Bud Light, has just introduced what we’re guessing is millions of people’s dream summer treat — a boozy seltzer frozen pop.

Bud Light Seltzer Frozen Icicles have arrived just in time for your backyard BBQs. They’re just spiked enough (5% ABV) for a fun summer afternoon, but light and refreshing enough (30 calories, 3 grams of sugar) to not have you pass out in that lawn chair.

As Thrillist excitedly reported, the “Limited Edition Tie-Dye” pack features three flavors: Cherry Limeade, Blue Raspberry, and Summer Ice. The whole tie-dye theme works perfect with the overall cheeseburger-in-paradise pop culture place of fruity seltzers.

Alcohol-infused seltzers have become all the rage the last couple of years (White Claw, anyone?), with Bud Light’s own version taking over the market.

And in case you don’t want to wait around for your drink to melt, Bud Light has concurrently announced their seltzer’s “Retro Summer Variety Pack,” which features the same flavors in the more familiar canned format.

"We know this summer is going to be a special one for us all,” said Andy Goeler, vice president of marketing, “so to celebrate we’re bringing something special to the market for our loyal fans while also attracting new ones. Our new limited-edition Bud Light Seltzer Retro Summer Variety Pack and Icicles are inspired by delicious and iconic flavors, which are synonymous with the season, and the eye-catching packaging is reminiscent of past summers."

Budweiser isn’t the first company to try this once-unimaginable idea. Truly already has their sauced suckers ready to go.

As if taking lawn darts away from the kids wasn’t enough, now you’ve got this to worry about at the backyard family party.
