Google data shows most misspelled words in each state

Google Trends data was analyzed to see which words were the most misspelled in each state.

UPI reports, one stand out was the word “quarantine” which made the top of the list in 12 states.

“Quarantine" was the most searched word for spelling in Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The most common misspelling of the word was “corn teen.”

Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and West Virginia’s most misspelled word was “Coronavirus.”

Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Mexico, Ohio, and Virginia’s top misspelled word was “favorite.”

Arizona, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and South Carolina’s top word was “which.”

“Every” was the top misspelled word in Hawaii, Mississippi, and Montana. Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota’s top word was “believe.”
