It turns out video games aren't a waste of time and just rotting our brains away!
In fact, a study from Oxford University has found quite the opposite, and that playing four hours of video games every day is actually good for your mental health!
The study, which focused on people playing Nintendo’s Animal Crossing, as well as EA’s shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, and found that people who played more games tended to report greater “wellbeing.”
The researches only looked at the two all-ages video games, and relented that other modes of play could prove to be less "wholesome."
Still, lead researcher Andrew Przybylski says the study shows that "if you play four hours a day of Animal Crossing, you’re a much happier human being."
