ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A 29-year-old St. Louisa man says dating has never been harder and dating apps haven't worked so he decided to help himself on the journey to true love. Colin O'Brien has launched a website to find dates and hopefully someone to share his life with.

He describes himself as "a single, twenty-nine year old looking to take you out on a date. He's a funny guy prone to outlandish bits, so he made this website." See for yourself at DateColinObrien.com.
He's got testimonials from his mom, roommate and a recent ex, and he's got "merch" like t-shirts, stickers and leggings with big hearts that display his personal dating website.
The producer for the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival tells St. Louis Talks on KMOX, he created the site last April but after he posted it on the wildly popular Facebook group, Date Ideas and Things to do in STL, he got 11 dates in three days!
He also wants to be upfront to all dates he's securing via his website: It's going to be Dutch, as in, he'll split the bill.
"The rule is first dates at least are going to have to be Dutch," O'Brein says.
