Raptors Fans Cheer Kevin Durant Injury, But Warriors Win Game 5

Don't count the back-to-back champs out just yet.

The Warriors found a way to hang on and force a Game 6. Final: 106-105

The Splash Brothers stepped up big time after Kevin Durant went down with a right lower leg injury.

The Warriors reportedly believe KD has ruptured his Achilles tendon, an injury that could sideline him for next season now as well. He'll undergo an MRI Tuesday. He will obviously miss the rest of the NBA Finals now after fighting to come back form a calf injury in the same leg.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr described the night as an "incredible win and a horrible loss".

As Durant was helped off the court, Raptors guard Kyle Lowry and several Warriors appeared to be indicating to the Toronto crowd to stop celebrating Durant's injury.

Before KD left the game he was balling. He had 11 points in 12 minutes and was 3-3 from beyond the arc. Prayers up for a speedy recovery.

Stephen Curry finished with 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Klay Thompson had 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The Warriors are back in action on Thursday in the last game at Oracle Arena. Tip-off is at 6 PM.
