Dan Reynolds is giving you a glimpse into his writing process.
In a video for US Weekly, the Imagine Dragons frontman takes you through how he spends a typical day, which always includes making a new demo recording. He then performs a snippet of one of the songs he's been writing.
It's hard to tell exactly what Reynolds is singing on the demo, especially since he likes to make up words and sing "nonsense" when he's trying to come up with a melody.

Reynolds didn't mention whether or not the demo is for a new Imagine Dragons song, but the band has been working a new album, the follow-up to 2018's Origins.
