HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- J.J. Watt left in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders with what appears to be a torn pectoral.
Watt was taken to a hospital for an MRI after the injury.
He confirmed after the game that he would miss the rest of the season.
The Texans are waiting for the MRI results to confirm the injury.
To make matters worse, an already short-handed secondary lost rookie Lonnie Johnson Jr. in the second quarter. Johnson went to the locker room for a concussion evaluation and was also ruled out.
The Texans were already missing their two starting cornerbacks Johnathan Joseph and Bradley Roby, both with hamstring injuries.
Safety Tashaun Gipson Sr. was also out for the Texans.
