Airlines Offer Passengers Flexibility Ahead of Tropical Storm Dorian

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Southwest Airlines and American Airlines are among the airlines offering their passengers some flexibility as all eyes are on Tropical Storm Dorian which is blowing through the Caribbean this morning.

Southwest customers flying to Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico between today and Friday may re-book a flight. However, they must do so within 14 days of their original travel date.

American Airlines will waive the fee to change flights scheduled through tomorrow if they're canceled.

American says flights to Barbados, Haiti, Martinique, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Saint Lucia are subject to cancellation.
