Monica is a Digital Content Producer with Audacy, specializing in Country Music. She was born and raised in San Diego, CA where she discovered her passion for music, especially Country at a young age. After earning a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Fresno State and gaining some experience at her hometown radio stations, Monica packed up her car and made a big move across the country to Nashville to pursue her dreams of working in the Country music industry. While she loves calling Nashville home, she never minds a trip back to sunny San Diego to visit with family, friends and the beautiful beaches. When she isn't covering the latest music news, Monica can be found dancing in her cowgirl boots at one of the thousands of music venues in Nashville, volunteering with Pit Bull rescue groups or crafting a new DIY project.
