Living in the northeast, we are autumn spoiled. And our neighbors in South Jersey have it all. So the next time you're looking to get your fall on, we highly suggest making a trip over the Ben to explore these fun, family-friendly activities!
1. Johnson’s Corner Farm, Medford NJ
Johnson’s Corner Farm is a one stop shop when it comes to family fun. Pumpkin picking hayrides are a classic here, as well as corn mazes, weekend fall harvests, cookouts, car shows, playgrounds, and animal feeding.
The farm also offers other fruit and vegetable picking aside from pumpkins if you’re looking for some sweet apples or corn! And, might we add, you’ll some of the most delicious pies ever created here! Next time you’re driving through Medford, stop off at Johnson’s to have a true fall experience with the people you love.
2. Autumn Lake Winery, Williamstown, NJ
For all of you 21 and older fall lovers, the Autumn Lake Winery is a must see visit. On October 13th-14th, head over to Williamstown, NJ and celebrate the harvest season with a wine tasting, tour of the winery, hayride, and live entertainment. And, of course delicious fall comfort food will be on the menu. What’s a better way to spend your afternoon?!
3. Medford Apple Festival, Medford NJ
Also located in Medford is the Medford Apple Festival. This festival attracks thousands of people from all over to experience apple everything! Apple pie, apple cider donuts, apple butter, and even apple ice-cream! The festival offers great live music, as well as games and activities for kiddos as well. Bring your apple-loving besties and check out the Apple Festival this year!
4. 16th Annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show, Woodstown NJ
Come one come all to the 16th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show, a must see event this fall season! This South Jersey favorite features a pumpkin weigh-off, food festival, Halloween costume contest, amusement rides, live music, and so much more. This is a can’t miss attraction that is super enjoyable for the entire fam.
5. Blood Shed Farms Fear Fest, Columbus NJ
If you’re looking for a good scare, add this spot to the bucket list. Every weekend in October, experience true fear with Blood Shed Farms Drive Through experience. From the safety and comfort of your car, drive through an intense, terrifying course where you will have encounters with frightening creatures, petrifying figures, and jump scares. Although fair warning: this fall favorite might keep you up at night. Muhahahahaha.
