Chef Brian Duffy shares ideas for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner on a budget

He even shares that one of his kids could be a result of unexpected aphrodisiacs

“I mean I have two children… I can tell you that one of them we should have named St. Michaels, Maryland.”

Chef Brian Duffy joined Jenn & Bill this morning to give his two cents about what he thinks is the best thing to cook while having a romantic Valentine’s Day at home while on a budget.

His idea? Fried rice.

“I like to do stuff that is shareable… I love to recreate fried rice,” he told Jenn & Bill, “...If you could, do something a little more elegant… with peas and onions and all of that...and then the shrimp have more of an elegant flare to it.”

Chef Duffy then goes on to explain that he loves shrimp with an orange marmalade that you can then throw into a pan and sear real fast, which you then put onto skewers around the fried rice.

When Jenn & Bill asked about if foods that can be an aphrodisiac, Chef Duffy replied with a story about his ex-wife:

“I was eating oysters and so was my ex wife…” which he explained eventually lead to one of his kids, that he said, should have been named “St. Michaels Maryland”!
