Are you "sewing" yet?! Instagram parent company Meta released the app 'Threads' on Wednesday July 5th. The app appears to function much like Twitter, emphasizing public conversations, with users able to follow people they already do on Instagram. Techies believe this is Mark Zuckerberg's long-awaited attempt to take down billionaire competitor Elon Musk and his recently acquired social media platform.
