If you're searching for something new to watch during the month of June, why not look to shows featuring some of the best LGBTQ+ comedies, dramas, reality shows, and documentaries in honor of Pride Month?

These programs will make you laugh, cry, think and cheer, all why centering around members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

From "Drag Race" to "Pose," and "Love, Victor" to "Legendary," here are some shows that will help you celebrate Pride from the comfort of your own couch.

Pride

The six-part documentary series details the struggle for LGBTQ+ civil rights in the US from the 1950s through the 2000s. It features appearances by Civil Rights pioneer Bayard Rustin, writer Audre Lorde, Senators Tammy Baldwin and Lester Hunt, among others.
All six episodes are streaming on Hulu.

Disclosure

The Netflix documentary examines transgender depictions in film and television and how Hollywood simultaneously reflects and manufactures the deepest anxieties surrounding gender. Prominent trans leaders and entertainers voice their experiences including Laverne Cox, “Pose” star Mj Rodriguez, director Lilly Wachowski and Chaz Bono.

Love, Victor

A spinoff of the 2018 film "Love, Simon," the romantic comedy-drama centers around Latinx teen Victor Salazar as he discovers his authentic self, comes out to his family, and finds his first true love. While the series recently premiered its second season, all episodes are available to stream on Hulu.

Legendary

"Legendary" is a voguing dance competition series that gives viewers an inside look at the world of ball culture, which originated in the Black and Brown queer communities of NYC. 8 teams known as houses compete for the $100,000 grand prize and are judged by a panel including singer Megan Thee Stallion, actress Jameela Jamil, stylist Law Roach, and vogue superstar Leiomy Maldonado.

Veneno

The scripted series tells the story of real-life Spanish transgender singer and television personality Cristina Ortiz Rodríguez, better known by the nickname "La Veneno,” who rose to fame in ‘90s Madrid and became an LGBT icon.

Pose

"Pose" is a dance musical set in the 1980s, exploring NYC ball culture through members of the Black and Brown LGBTQ+ community. Starring Billy Porter, Mj Rodriguez and Indya Moore, the show chronicles their lives as they navigate through the AIDS crisis, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other harsh realities as a family. They also serve up fierce dance numbers while snatching trophies. Werk. Live. Pose.

Queer Eye

Netflix's "Queer Eye" follows the Fab 5 as they transform the lives of everyday people they come across who could use a little sparkle in their lives. Watch as Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, and Bobby Berk give fashion and lifestyle makeovers to their guests.

It's a Sin

The five-part series is set in London from 1981 to 1991 and depicts the lives of a group of gay men and their friends living, loving and surviving through the HIV/AIDS crisis. Neil Patrick Harris and Years and Years singer Olly Alexander are among the ensemble cast. Stream it on HBO Max.

Schitt's Creek

Emmy-winning series "Schitt's Creek" follows the Rose family as they fall from wealth into a motel in a small town that's their only hope. They make friends, find love, and crack jokes to help their situation along the way.

We're Here

This six-part HBO series follows small-town residents as they make their ways into the world of drag. They'll participate in one-night performances with the help of "RuPaul's Drag Race" alums.

RuPaul's Drag Race

After 13 season and multiple spinoffs, RuPaul continues searching for America's next drag star by hosting a competition complete with lip sync battles, fashion shows, and challenges. Shantay you watch!

Will & Grace

The famous NBC sitcom, which ran for a total of 11 seasons after being rebooted in 2017, is available to stream on Hulu. It follows the story of best friends Will and Grace as they navigate New York City with their scene-stealing sidekicks Jack and Karen.

Queer as Folk

Originally airing from 2000 to 2005 on Showtime, "Queer as Folk" is a drama that follows the lives of a group of friends in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as they navigate sex, drugs, adventure, friendship, and love.

The L Word

"The L Word" follows the lives of a group of lesbian friends living in Los Angeles through their ups and downs and in-betweens. Originally airing from 2004 to 2009, the Showtime series was rebooted in 2019 with a few original stars like Jennifer Beals and renamed "The L-Word: Generation Q."
