Piers Morgan is doubling down on public jabs at Meghan Markle.

The television personality took a shot at the Duchess of Sussex, again accusing her of lying about an allegedly secret wedding to Prince Harry during the couple’s revealing tell-all interview with Oprah earlier this month.

During the Oprah interview, the former royals claimed they were married in a secret ceremony days before their official lavish wedding on May 19, 2018.

On Monday, Morgan shared a report from The Daily Mail saying the couple’s marriage certificate reveals that they did get married on that date, not three days prior by the Archbishop of Canterbury like they said in the interview.

“Do we still have to believe her?” Morgan commented in a tweet linking to the report.

Harry told Oprah that at the alleged secret wedding, only he, Markle and the Archbishop of Canterbury were present. However, according to The Church of England’s official Guidebook for The Clergy, at least two witnesses must be present at a wedding for it to be legally binding, Fox News reports.

Earlier in March, Morgan stormed off the set of “Good Morning Britain” during a tense moment in which one of his co-presenters criticized him for his comments about Markle the day after the Oprah interview aired. The famous host soon quit the show that same day.

Several celebrities have chimed in on the bombshell interview with Oprah, as well as on the Morgan controversy specifically.

Last week, “The Talk” went on a break as CBS announced they were conducting an “internal review” of Osbourne’s tense exchange with fellow co-host Sheryl Underwood over Morgan’s controversial remarks about Markle.

Friend of Meghan Markle and TV presenter Gayle King last week revealed that the Duke of Sussex has allegedly had conversations with his brother William and his father Charles for the first time following the interview, in talks that were allegedly “not productive.”

“Well, I'm not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling, and it's true, Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father, too,” King began on CBS This Morning last Tuesday.

“The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation,” King continued.

She added, “No one in the royal family has talked to Meghan yet, at this particular time.”
