Cheesesteak Cookoff

WHERE: Greate Bay Country Club, 901 Somers Point, Somers Point
DETAILS: Join the KB Foundation for their first-ever Cheesesteak Cookoff. The event features a friendly competition between chefs William Burris and Christina Ruocco to see who can make the best Philly cheesesteak. There will also be live music, drinks and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the KB Foundation that’s committed to mentoring and serving youth in the Greater Philadelphia area.
PRICE: $150, but children under 12 are free

Wildwood Restaurant Week

DETAILS: Spend the afternoon on the boardwalk for the 20th annual FACES Day at Gillian’s Pier. FACES 4 Autism is hosting the event and will be selling 200 wristbands, so make sure to get there early! The event is specifically designed to be sensory-friendly so that families can enjoy a peaceful afternoon at the park

Boogie Daze

A Starry Night Art Auction and Reception

DATE/TIME: Thursday, June 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: John F. Peto Studio Museum, 102 Cedar Avenue, Island Heights
DETAILS: Enjoy a night full of art at the Starry Night Art Auction and Reception, that benefits Ocean’s Harbor House. The local nonprofit provides shelter, support, and services for homeless and vulnerable youth. The event will be held outdoors at the John F. Peto studio and features art by local artists and the kids in Ocean Harbor’s art therapy program.
