A.J. Brown detailed his exit from the Titans after a blockbuster draft-night trade sent him from Tennessee to Philadelphia on Thursday night.

The move came after weeks of whispers that Brown and the Titans couldn't get on the same page regarding his contract.

The fourth-year stud wideout was said to be seeking to replace his rookie contract with a hefty extension -- which he now has courtesy of the Eagles.

And according to Brown, he's not to blame for the split because the Titans made him a low-ball offer.

Per ESPN:

"This wasn't my fault," Brown told ESPN. "I wanted to stay, but the deal they offered was a low offer. The deal they offered wasn't even $20 million a year."

Brown said the Titans' offer topped out at $16 million per season with incentives that would have driven the deal up to a $20 million average. At 24 years old, Brown was entering the final year of his rookie contract that would have paid him around $4 million in 2022.

In fact, Browns claims he would have taken less than what he got from the Eagles, had it been offered to him.

"I would have stayed if they offered me $22 million," he told ESPN.

Brown's remarks to ESPN came after he voiced similar sentiments in a tweet that has since been deleted.

"Tennessee I love you and you will forever be in my heart and I can say this now ... THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT," Brown said. "But I wish you all the best. Love"

After acquiring the 18th overall pick from the Eagles in the Brown deal, the Titans drafted his potential replacement in Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks.
