1 Coachella

When: Friday, April 15–Sunday, April 17; Friday, April 22–Sunday, April 24
Where: Indio, California

For the first time in three years, Coachella is coming back. Despite somewhat having turned into more of a luxury party over the years, there’s no denying Coachella is the quintessential fest and one very hot ticket. Palm trees, desert sunsets, celeb-spotting, what's not to love? This years headliners include Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Kanye West, which only makes things even more exciting.

2 Lovers and Friends

When: Saturday, May 14–Sunday, May 15
Where: Las Vegas, Nevada

If it’s nostalgia you’re looking for, this is the one. Originally supposed to launch in 2020, Lovers and Friends is an all-new event. Created with millennials in mind, the two day event highlights '90s and '00s Hip Hop, as well as R&B heavy-hitters. So dig up that old iPod nano, and get ready to get crunk to Lauryn Hill, Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Ciara, Nelly, TLC and more.

3 When We Were Young

When: Saturday, October 22–Sunday, October 23, and Saturday, October 29
Where: Las Vegas, Nevada

Proving emo was never a phase! 2022 brings another brand new festival, that when announced just about broke the internet. Yet another nostalgia festival, leaning into the pop-punk revival and millennials' sentiment for their Myspace scene days. With a lineup almost exclusively of '00s pop-punk mainstays, headliners include My Chemical Romance and Paramore. BRB, stocking up on hair dye and black eyeliner in preparation for this epic event.

4 Bonnaroo

When: Thursday, June 16–Sunday, June 19
Where: Manchester, Tennessee

Camping enthusiasts with a love for radio hits, classic rock, folk, and country — this one’s for you. After a September stint in 2021, the beloved fest is moving back to its regular weekend in June. With its on-site campgrounds, silent disco and sets that go into the wee hours of the night, as always the Roo remains the event for east coast festival devotees. This year’s headliners include — The Chicks, Flume, Gryffin, Illenium, J. Cole, Machine Gun Kelly, Roddy Ricch, Stevie Nicks, TOOL, and 21 Savage.

5 Governors Ball

When: Friday, June 10–Sunday, June 12
Where: New York, New York

Speaking to all those who can vibe out equally to rap, indie rock, and electronic, NYC's major music festival is returning to its rightful place as the city's unofficial start to summer event. Back on the calendar for its typical early June slot, but is sticking with last year's location of Citi Field. Headliners include Halsey, Kid Cudi, and J. Cole, and the rest of the line-up is also straight up fire.

6 Hangout Fest

When: Friday, May 20–Sunday, May 22
Where: Gulf Shores, Alabama

Not every music festival is also a giant beach party, but Hangout Fest is. With waves crashing just behind the stages on the beaches of the Gulf Shores you’ll have plenty of opportunity to soak in the sun while you soak up some tunes. If whoever’s on stage isn’t your vibe (doubtful), or just in-between sets, you can fill up your time with volleyball, swimming, roller blading or just chillin in the sand. So who’s all performing you ask? Oh nbd, just Post Malone, Tame Impala and Halsey as headliners, along with Fall Out Boy, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Phoebe Bridgers, Jack Harlow, Maren Morris, Zedd and more. If you have any more questions, we’ll be at the pool getting our base tan ready.

A post shared by Firefly Music Festival (@fireflymusicfestival)

7 Firefly

When: Thursday, September 22–Sunday, September 25
Where: Dover, Delaware

A multi-genre behemoth, Firefly is the east coast's biggest camping festival. Everything about this festival is top of the line, from the lineup, to the immersive experience onsite with tons of areas to explore. As well as camping accommodations, so you can have that full, euphoric, somewhat grimy but nonetheless incredible experience. The festival curates its lineup with just about every kind of music fan in mind, which includes some of the biggest names in popular music along with emerging names in rock, pop, and rap. K, ready for the headliners? Dua Lipa, Green Day, Halsey, and My Chemical Romance — see, told ya.

8 Lollapalooza

When: Thursday, July 28- Sunday, July 31
Where: Chicago, Illinois

Guys! Lolla is back with a recently released, majorly stacked, genre spanning lineup, so obviously we're extremely hype. The epitome of Windy City summer fun, at Lollapalooza there’s something for everyone. Offering four days of Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and more, this year’s featured headliners include everything from Rock legends Metallica, to Pop sensation Dua Lipa, as well as J. Cole, Green Day, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby, and Kygo. Exactly, as we said, we're extremely hype, feel free to join us.

In only a few short years Rolling Loud has become a rap head’s mecca. Now featuring editions in New York, LA, the Bay Area, Australia, Portugal and of course its flagship in Miami, which is gearing up for another run in 2022. With its annual lineup essentially a portrayal of the hip hop’s current hierarchy, this year is no different with headliners like Kanye, Future and Kendrick Lamar.

A post shared by Shaky Knees Festival (@shakykneesfest)

10 Shaky Knees

When: Friday, April 29–Sunday, May 1
Where: Atlanta, Georgia

This one's for the rock fans. Since its inception in 2013, Shaky Knees has featured a diverse lineup ranging from world-renowned acts to up-and-coming artists. This year, the Southern festival is committed to a roster of legacy acts as its headliners like Green Day, My Morning Jacket, and Nine Inch Nails, just to name a few. Side note / important info if you plan on getting your mosh on — in order to get anywhere near the pit, though, you'll need proof of vaccination or a negative test.
