After first being unveiled by the group’s label Big Hit Music on social media with a short visualizer, the label also shared the album will include a collection of six tracks; “Rainy Days,” “Blue,” “Love Me Again,” “Slow Dancing,” “For Us,” and a bonus track.
"Love Me Again," and "Rainy Days," were the LP's first two singles to arrive. With its stripped back vibes, snapping snare and eccentric looping piano melodies, “Rainy Days” highlights V’s vocals in a unique way. Accompanied by a music video, V is seen going about an ordinary rainy lazy day at home — waking up, prepping food, working, and taking various naps.
"Love Me Again” is giving slow jams with a side of popping percussion. Switching up the lyrics between English and Korean, V’s soothing vocals will have you hooked whether you speak the language or not.
As for the rest of the album “Slow Dancing,” the “title song” but fourth on the tracklist is described as a “romantic soul style of the 1970s.” While track five, “For Us,” is a "Pop R&B song with unique lyrics and V's voice,” as well as “an epilogue song that concludes the album.” The “last track is the piano version of 'Slow Dancing.’"
BTS is currently on hiatus as a group, in order for its members to complete their mandatory South Korean military service. As of now, Jin and J-Hope are currently enlisted, however they will soon be joined by Suga, whom Big Hit recently issued a statement informing fans, “has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.”
The group’s hiatus is expected to last through 2025, and all seven members of BTS will complete their mandatory service over the next couple of years. However in the meantime, some have taken this time to see what the solo sea has to offer.
