By now we all know that Bennifer 2.0 is once again betrothed. Having been totally on board and a bit obsessed since the two reunited after almost 2 decades apart, we had no doubts Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck would once again find themselves in this familiar spot. However, the way in which it went down (on one knee), was not at all what we saw coming.

Before detailing exactly how Proposal 2.0 played out in her newsletter On The JLo, Jen first explained that she's a big believer in second chances and noted Ben popping the question to be "biggest dream" come true.
"Did you ever imagine your biggest dream could come true?" she began. "Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed.
"I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, 'Is that a yes?' I said 'YES of course that's a YES.'”
This time around, Ben proposed with am 8.5-carat natural green diamond, which could reportedly be worth more than $10 million — nbd.
Explaining the meaning behind her beautiful green rock, Lopez said, "Green has always been my lucky color and now, for sure, it always will be." Sharing camera roll photos, including a snap of herself with the ring and a close-up of the diamond.
Continuing to gush, Lopez wrote, "I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole. It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could've ever imagined … just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other.” Before adding, ”Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.”
Agreed, while ridiculously romantic, ngl, with it being J.Lo we were expecting something not so low-key. Not suggesting anything crazy, maybe just something involving synchronized dancing swans, or a procession of hot air balloons… or something. But alas, she was clearly more than pleased with the outcome, and frankly so are we — because for the second time, J.Lo said YES.
