After chatting about fashion, their name is NewJeans after all, the group shared why they think it’s best to listen to their latest EP, Get Up, from front to back because “it really connects the songs in this kind of narrative.” Noting, “the flow of the songs… compliment each other” and that listening to them in order, “really brings out the best” in the songs.

One of the album’s tracks, single “Super Shy,” already has people hooked, which NewJeans don’t find surprising thanks to the songs “catchy tune” and “feel of a flash mob” that “really brings the listeners together.”

For those who have never seen a NewJeans performance, the girls shared a bit about what to expect, revealing being on stage allows each member’s individuality to shine, “and that’s what makes it really fun to watch.”

NewJeans went on to share a bucket list item they have of “meeting all the bunnies in the world,” who at Lollapalooza they’re most excited to see, like Billie Eilish, as well as some of their pre-show rituals that include music, and “this thing we call the sandwich.”

To hear them explain what that exactly entails, and more — listen to the entire interview above.
